I analyzed the impact of urbanization on farmland insect pollinators, predators, and pests in Bengaluru, India. In addition, I assess the influence of farm management on these insect groups and yields. This research is part of the project DFG Research Unit FOR2432 Phase II.

As part of the project SALLnet (South African Limpopo Landscapes Network), I analyzed the effect of elevation and semi-natural habitat on Hymenoptera communities in macadamia farms in the province of Limpopo.

Here, I assessed the impact of land-use change on ant communities in the SAVA region, northeastern Madagascar. This research was part of the Diversity Turn in Land Use Science project, investigating the importance of social diversity for sustainable land use innovations using the example of vanilla farming in Madagascar.
